The Managing Director of Shepcote Engineering Ltd is personally committed to constantly improving health and safety throughout the company as they believe that good safety is good business and should be given equal status to other business objectives.
They are committed to providing sufficient financial and physical resources to support this statement and doing all that is reasonably practicable to ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees and other persons affected by the company activities.
They recognise that employees are a key resource within the company and acknowledge the contribution they can make to the implementation of Health and Safety. With this in mind the Managing Director is committed to ensure that all employees are provided with the necessary support to achieve and maintain competencies for their roles. They will consult with any employees on matters affecting their health, safety and welfare at work through arrangements and meetings
Risk management is fundamental to the company`s sustainability. Significant risks are identified, evaluated and controlled to prevent injury, ill health and loss through appropriate assessment and supporting activities.
The company will strive to constantly improve health and safety standards by measuring and reviewing performance, identifying opportunities to improve and taking corrective action where necessary.
The Managing Director has overall responsibility for formulating and implementing the Health and Safety policy. In turn, employees are responsible for the health and safety duties allocated to them.
Shepcote Engineering Ltd require all employees to carry out their legal duties, to act responsibly, prevent injury to themselves and others and co-operate in all matters relating to Health and Safety.
This statement together with the associated policy is subject to an annual review by the Managing Director or a competent person appointed by them.
