Order Boosts for 2009.
1100mm bore.
Shepcote Engineering entered 2009 in buoyant mood by successfully gaining new contracts for sub-contract machining work for the oil & gas industry.
Shepcote Engineering is currently machining and assembling 1100mm bore stainless steel tubes to be used on Euro Loop, Europe's largest calibration system for oil & gas metering. Following machining, our company will oversee assembly of pipes at a specially prepared site in Rotterdam later in 2009.
Substantial order increases premises and staff numbers.
Subsea Riser Products (SRP) have placed an order with Shepcote Engineering worth £800,000 for the machining, assembly, testing and surface treatment of a revolutionary sub-sea Riser System.
Starting in Jan 2009, the contract is due be completed by August 2009. To complete this contract it has been necessary to lease a further 10.000 sq ft in addition to the 25,000 sq ft of our new premises and also means the creation of 4 new posts.
Prestigious sub contract order recently completed
Shepcote Engineering recently completed an order for eight 200mm x 110mm x 2m stroke hydraulic cylinders and twelve 250mm x 110mm x 1m stroke hydraulic cylinders designed for use in a new waste recycling plant constructed on the NW coast of England.
Shepcote are on the move!
On 6th October 2008 Shepcote Engineering moved to a new location in Sheffield. The new building provides much more space, better craneage and vastly improved access. A new office block has also been designed and constructed to Shepcote's own specification. Shepcote has excellent access to Britain's arterial road network, being situated upon the ring road and close to the Sheffield Parkway that leads directly to junction 33 of the M1 Motor way.
Harwich Linkspan Cylinder Project.
Shepcote Engineering beat off stiff competition to design and build a replacement hydraulic cylinder and also to repair the existing cylinders for the commercial linkspan at Harwich International Port.
