Press lift rams to Sheffield Forgemasters
Replacement rams were needed to replace aging units on one of Sheffield Forgemasters largest and most important pieces of plant.
The 10,000 ton press was in need of refurbishment to ensure the continuous production of valuable forgings that are on order.
Shepcote supplied two new cylinders, each with 21" bore, 10" dia rod with a 53.75" stroke were manufactured from stainless steel.
